1. About MarkThePast

MarkThePast provides physical discovery maps and QR-linked story pages that help you explore local heritage at your own pace.

2. Orders, pricing and GST

Prices are shown in NZD and include GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping is calculated at checkout (NZ delivery only for the Christchurch MVP).

3. Shipping and delivery

We aim to dispatch promptly. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather or other factors outside our control. Please ensure your delivery address is correct.

4. Returns and replacements

If your map arrives damaged, incorrect, or materially defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order details. We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Change-of-mind returns may not be available for printed products once produced, unless required by NZ consumer law.

5. QR stories and digital content

QR-linked story pages require an internet connection and a compatible device. We may update, improve or correct digital content over time. We do not guarantee that every page will be available uninterrupted at all times.

6. Copyright and acceptable use

All maps, designs and story content are owned by MarkThePast (FarmAlert) and are protected by copyright. The map and stories are for personal use. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or publish the map or content without permission.

7. Safety

These maps are self-guided experiences. You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of anyone in your group. Follow road rules, obey signage, respect private property, and use common sense. Participation is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from delays, outages, or events outside our reasonable control.
